During the course, participants will learn about the following:
- Life cycle approaches to systems design and improvement;

A featured speaker from the inaugural LCELP program, VADM Paul E. Sullivan, USN (Ret.), IDB Executive Fellow Emeritus and Vice President, American Centrifuge and Chief Engineer, USEC, Inc., stated:
"Lifecycle organization and management is a team sport. You need leaders in the civilian, uniformed military, and contractor communities to integrate their efforts. The only place I'm aware of in the country where these communities come together is at the IDB. The exchange of information among these communities creates a powerful learning experience and forges strong networks that can be leveraged to solve future challenges."
The target audience for this program is program managers, logistics support managers, production managers, and systems integrators (O4-O6 for uniformed military and GS 13-15 for civilians), as well as comparable private sector executives and managers. The program is designed for both engineers and non-engineers interested in developing a deeper understanding of life cycle theories, practices, and techniques.
