The Home Depot to Hire 80,000 Associates for Busy Spring Season
ATLANTA, Feb. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Home Depot®, the world's largest home improvement retailer, has begun filling more than 80,000 seasonal positions to assist customers during the company's busiest selling season. As both the company's busiest hiring and selling period, spring serves as The Home Depot's annual peak season, similar to the Christmas selling season for many retailers. This year, The Home Depot is hiring ten thousand more spring associates than it did last year to support anticipated sales growth in the spring.
