RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hilb Group, LLC (THG) announced today the acquisition of Indianapolis, Indiana-based Fundamental Insurance & Retirement Planning (FIRP) Inc. The transaction became effective October 1, 2016.
FIRP provides its clients with a vast range of insurance offerings from property and casualty to life and health for businesses and individuals. All of FIRP's employees, including President Michael Weisemann, are joining THG and will continue to operate out of their four offices located throughout Indiana under their existing name.
With this acquisition, THG expands its footprint into the Midwest and establishes its commitment to building a distinguished network of nationwide agency partners.
