The Great Pumpkin Fest At California's Great America Begins October 1
Trick-Or-Treating, Mini Pumpkin Decorating, A 1,000 Pound Pumpkin And More
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Great Pumpkin Fest at California's Great America opens this weekend and runs Saturdays and Sundays, October 1-30 (closed October 2 and 23). The Great Pumpkin Fest is fun for the entire family and has become a Bay Area tradition for the extended Halloween season.
From Noon-4pm during The Great Pumpkin Fest, guests 12-and-younger can race through a hay maze, decorate mini pumpkins, color PEANUTS™ pictures, dance in a foam pit and see a 1,000 lb. pumpkin. They will also enjoy wearing their costumes and Trick-or-Treating with the PEANUTS™ gang.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the animated classic, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," Great America will present book readings and movie showings during the day.
