NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grade, a new iPhone® dating application released by Snap Interactive, Inc. ("SNAP" or the "Company") (OTCQB: STVI) that aims to create a female-friendly experience by expelling 'failing users', is excited to announce that during the week of February 6th, The Grade was a featured app in the U.S. Social Networking category on the Apple® App Store SM in addition to being included in the selective 'It's a Date!' and 'Love & Romance' collections.

SNAP's Chief Executive Officer Clifford Lerner commented, "We're excited that Apple has recognized The Grade as a featured application, selecting us as one of a few to highlight amongst many of the most popular dating apps. The timing could not be better with Valentine's Day approaching, when singles typically flock to dating apps to find Valentine's dates. We believe that this further validates the unique concept 'The Grade.'"
The Grade is the first dating application that holds users accountable for their behavior by using a proprietary algorithm that assigns letter grades to users ranging from "A+" to "F" based on profile quality, responsiveness, and message quality. Users with a grade of "D" or "F" receive a warning and instructions on how to improve their grade, while users who maintain an "F" grade are expelled.
The Grade attempts to address the needs of female daters by expelling 'failing' users who are offensive and hostile, and thus create a community of high-quality daters who are desirable, articulate and responsive. By expelling low-quality users who receive an "F" grade, The Grade enables users to have an enhanced experience by viewing potential matches without sifting through hundreds of undesirable, inappropriate, and unresponsive users.
Since its launch on November 10th, The Grade has received over 20,000 downloads and created over 25,000 matches on the app. The Grade is currently free and available to download here in the App Store on iTunes or by searching "The Grade Dating." About The Grade
They do have the ability to "appeal" the decision by providing compelling reasons why they should be allowed back; however, re-entry is not guaranteed. By expelling low-quality users who receive an "F" grade, The Grade aims to create a community of high-quality users who are desirable, articulate and responsive.
