The Global Standard for Digital Transaction Management™ DocuSign® Selects Integra™ for Voice, Data & Cloud Connectivity
Integra delivers reliable, high bandwidth infrastructure to support rapid adoption of DocuSign by organizations of every size, industry and geography
PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has implemented a reliable, high-performance voice and data network solution to support the rapid global adoption of DocuSign, Inc.'s (DocuSign's) Digital Transaction Management (DTM) platform around the world. Integra worked closely with DocuSign, The Global Standard for Digital Transaction Management™, to design an integrated solution that relies on Integra Voice Communications services, IP/MPLS VPN and Ethernet services to deliver the connectivity and bandwidth DocuSign needs for its booming data-driven business.
DocuSign initially approached Integra for voice services capable of keeping pace with its needs after experiencing lost calls and missed opportunities. Integra acted quickly to bring new voice services online and worked with DocuSign's network leadership to identify other areas where Integra's broad range of services could support the company's growth. This collaboration quickly produced a new IP/MPLS VPN network architecture, and Integra connected DocuSign offices in Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago through the integrated network. Integra also provided a 1 Gbps circuit to support DocuSign's cloud infrastructure with dependable quality of service.
"Among the three biggest challenges of scaling out infrastructure, across a network or in the cloud, are manageability, reliability and cost," said Josh Sordelet, Unified Communications Architect at DocuSign. "Integra stepped in with a solutions-oriented approach that helped us meet each of those challenges while keeping us completely connected to our customers and our expanding global presence. Integra's hands-on collaboration and array of services helped us establish a future-proof architecture that can scale in any dimension as our business demands, and we're very pleased with the results."
The Integra network has delivered significant return on investment. DocuSign reports a 50 percent reduction in telephony costs while observing significant improvements in quality and reliability of voice services. The fully redundant network solution has dramatically increased network uptime, driving significant operating efficiencies; moreover, improved bandwidth and reliability for cloud applications has led to greater usage of cloud infrastructure, allowing for reduced capital expenditures.
"DocuSign needed an agile partner with the resources and expertise to execute quickly and effectively across the spectrum of voice, data and cloud services," said Craig Pierce, Vice President of Sales, Integra. "Our close collaboration yielded a customized network that aligns precisely with DocuSign's business requirements today and provides for fast and cost-efficient expansion as the company continues to grow. We're proud to see DocuSign and its customers depend on Integra's network solutions."
