The Forbes On PodcastOne Network Is Set To Premiere A Robust Lineup Of Four New Business Podcasts
Forbes Media Chief Product Officer Lewis D'Vorkin and PodcastOne Executive Chairman Norman Pattiz Announce the Launch of The Forbes Interview, Forbes Under 30, Forbes Lists and Forbes Sports Money Podcasts
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The recently-formed Forbes on PodcastOne network is set to launch four new business podcasts in January and February, it was announced today by Lewis D'Vorkin, Chief Product Officer of Forbes Media, and Norman Pattiz, Founder and Executive Chairman of PodcastOne, the nation's largest advertiser-supported podcast network. The new programs - The Forbes Interview, Forbes Under 30, Forbes Lists and Forbes Sports Money - will be available on PodcastOne.com, the PodcastOne app and iTunes.
"We're excited to build on our successful partnership with PodcastOne, and launch additional podcasts with content that reinforces the mission of Forbes...to champion entrepreneurship," said Lewis D'Vorkin, Chief Product Officer of Forbes Media. "Our focus this year is about taking Forbes content off domain and monetizing those experiences. Podcasts represent yet another avenue for us to diversify our revenue streams."
PodcastOne Founder and Executive Chairman Norman Pattiz said, "Forbes' initial conversation podcast will feature Adam Carolla, the most downloaded podcaster of all time, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Adam will discuss his own personal journey, the building of Carolla Digital, and a lot of other extremely interesting things from questions put forth by The Forbes Interview podcast host, Steve Bertoni. Future shows will include leaders from business, technology, entertainment and sports - the kinds of people that you would likely see on the cover of Forbes. We couldn't be more excited about this partnership."
Forbes and PodcastOne join efforts in the development, production, distribution, promotion, marketing and advertising sales of the network.
The partnership combines the resources and reach of the two companies, which include 6.7 million Forbes magazine readers in the U.S., approximately 50 million unique monthly visitors to Forbes.com, and PodcastOne's lineup of 200 programs, which see 1.5 billion downloads annually.
The Forbes Interview, which will debut January 17, will delve into the minds of the most significant leaders of today. The people who have been, or easily could be, on the coveted cover of Forbes magazine, are interviewed by Forbes Senior Editor Steve Bertoni, with new episodes every Tuesday.
Launching February 1, with new episodes every Wednesday, Forbes Under 30 focuses on young innovators, disruptors and entrepreneurs who are reaching big to achieve the not-so-small goal of changing the world. Interviewed by Forbes contributor and former PBS host, Steve Goldbloom, guests will include past and present members recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 lists, along with up-and-comers who match the profile of future list-makers.
Forbes Lists kicks off February 16, hosted by Jordan Harbinger, who celebrates his ten-year anniversary in podcasting this year, also serving as host of the very-successful Art of Charm PodcastOne program. Harbinger will talk with list-makers and Forbes editors in charge of curating the well-known Forbes lists that highlight the top companies, wealthiest people and biggest celebrities in the world. They'll also reveal what didn't make the digital or print cut. New episodes run every Thursday.
March 2 marks the launch of Forbes Sports Money, which takes an in-depth look at the business of sports, as team owners, athletes and industry leaders talk money and the enterprise of sports. The show, hosted by Michael Ozanian, co-host and managing editor of Forbes SportsMoney, a four-time New York Emmy Award-winning television show on the YES Network, is available every Thursday.
Throughout 2017, the companies will continue to add podcasts to the Forbes on PodcastOne network on a wide range of subject areas.
