The Features Confirm 2010 U.S. Tour Dates
Band Takes UK by Storm
Features and Kings of Leon NME Interview Runs 2/20/10
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Features, the first band signed to the Kings of Leon's record label, Serpents & Snakes, via a partnership with 429 Records and Bug Music, which released their critically acclaimed album SOME KIND OF SALVATION in 2009, announce an extensive U.S. tour for 2010 beginning in late February. Once considered Nashville's best kept secret, The Features have steadily built an ever-growing following for their special brand of dynamic pop rock and explosive live shows. The band has earned accolades worldwide off the strength of the stellar 2009 U.S. album SOME KIND OF SALVATION which was produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Modest Mouse) and Brian Carter @ Paradox Productions. SOME KIND OF SALVATION was just released this year in the UK to a flurry of gushing press including this month's NME interview with the band and KOL's Caleb Followil. The Features will tour in support of Manchester Orchestra throughout the U.S. with dates that kick off in Lake Buena, Florida on February 26th and continue through early spring. SOME KIND OF SALVATION is available worldwide as of February 22, 2010.

Says Caleb Followil in NME: "These guys were the first band from Tennessee that we ever liked—they've been around longer than us, they know a thing or two—and I just decided I wanted to drag them around the world with us and try to help people get turned on to them."
U.S. press has been kind as well. Says People Magazine: "Like Kings of Leon, the Features are rockers out of Nashville, In addition to being on KOL's new label, they have opened for that band. You can clearly hear why they'd make a great double bill." 3 Stars.
