Visit Fairfax and Industry Partners Host Job Fair on May 10th from 10 a.m. to Noon
Board of Supervisors Vice Chairwoman Gross to Open Event with Brief Remarks
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va., April 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- According to the U.S. Travel Association, 1 out of every 9 jobs in the U.S. depends on travel and tourism. Even amid ongoing reports of high unemployment rates across the country, the tourism community continues to thrive and prosper with new jobs and exciting career opportunities. As the industry celebrates its vast workforce next month with National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Fairfax (www.fxva.com) and its local partners are hosting a job fair on Monday, May 10th to show that the industry isn't just strong -- it's hiring!

The 2010 Fairfax County Travel & Tourism Job Fair is scheduled for Monday, May 10th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Westin Tysons Corner (7801 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA). Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Vice Chairwoman Penelope Gross (Mason District) and Mr. Biggar will kick off the event with a brief rally starting at 9:00 a.m.
