CHICAGO, May 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Executives' Club of Chicago is honored to participate in the Veterans Leadership Program sponsored by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and Fifth Third Bank by launching a special membership and personal development initiative to give back to those who fight for our freedom.
The Veterans Leadership Program will provide the next great generation of Veteran business leaders opportunities for success through membership with The Executives' Club of Chicago by fostering an environment for growth and providing mentorship opportunities. Supporting the unique talents of military veterans will contribute to the overall success of the Chicagoland business community.
"In honor of Memorial Day, we want to recognize the men and women of the United States armed forces who protect our freedom," said Ana Dutra, President and CEO of The Executives' Club of Chicago. "Many EC members have served in the military, and to them and all veterans, we extend our profound gratitude for their courage and service to our country. We're proud to partner with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation to be able to provide Veterans with opportunities here at The EC."
EC Members who have been in the service are encouraged to join us in helping these men and women reenter the business community by serving as a mentor, sponsor or other resource. Veterans who wish to learn more on how you can participate, please contact Rebecca Reid, Membership Director at [email protected].
