The Educational Review System's First Annual Pediatric Medication Safety Summit
BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Educational Review System held the first annual Pediatric Medication Safety Summit on Sept. 28 at the Meyedenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. Attendees came from across the country to listen to national pharmacy thought leaders discuss the challenges of pediatric medications, technology and closing the gap.
Mark Neuenschwander, the 2010 recipient of the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Lifetime Achievement Award, hosted the one-day event and led the afternoon panel focused on the benefits of technology within the pediatric patient population and the remaining gaps.
