VEVO is launching an updated version of its platform today to offer an evolved music video experience, which encourages personalization and interaction with friends. The integration of The Echo Nest's music data platform into VEVO allows fans to create personalized music video playlists from VEVO's massive premium catalog of more than 45,000 videos.
Fans can further customize the experience by scanning their audio music collection using a simple web link. The result: a "lean-back," thematic music video platform based on the fan's overall musical preferences.
