The Dailey Method to Hold Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Classes Around the Country
SUPPORT FOUNDER JILL DAILEY, A RECENT BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The globally celebrated Dailey Method barre workout will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year with fundraising classes to take place at studios around the country. Throughout the week of October 17, The Dailey Method will donate 100% of the proceeds of specially designated Breast Cancer Donation Classes to the Y-Me National Breast Organization and To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation. Additionally, ALL proceeds of sales of The Dailey Method special edition pink grip socks ($10) and Do It Dailey Pink Ribbon T's ($25) will be donated to these two charities.
This fundraising effort is especially close to the heart of Dailey Method followers and founder Jill Dailey as she is a recent breast cancer survivor herself. All Dailey Method studios have always valued supporting this cause, but it's more personal than ever for them all now.
Special class schedules can be found at www.thedaileymethod.com and / or at each studio around the country.
About The Dailey Method®
The Dailey Method opened its first location at the height of the dot-com boom in June 2000 in a small 1,000 square foot facility in San Francisco's Marina District. Since then, the company has grown nearly two thousand percent with 28 locations globally and more in the works. Nineteen of the studios are in California, with four in Illinois, one in Arizona, one in Vancouver, Canada and one in Paris, France. The Dailey Method's hallmark is its proprietary one-hour fitness class which combines ballet barre work, core conditioning, yoga, and orthopedic exercises. The classes successfully strengthen, tone, and lengthen the entire body while providing quick physical results. The Dailey Method is owned by husband-and-wife team Jill Dailey McIntosh and Doug McIntosh. The Dailey Method has developed a dedicated following amongst its clientele and more studio openings are in the works. In 2012, they will have more than 40 studios open worldwide.
