LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chau, Beyond the Lines, distributed by The Cordish Companies' Seventh Art Releasing, has been nominated for Best Short Documentary at the 2016 Academy Awards. Directed by Courtney Marsh, Chau, Beyond the Lines follows the life of Chau, a teenager living in a Vietnamese care center for children disabled by the chemical Agent Orange used during the Vietnam War, whose dream is to one day become a professional artist. With a rare disability in his arms and legs, Chau is repeatedly told his goal is not only unrealistic, but impossible. At age 17 and against all odds, Chau ventures out into the real world to see if, in fact, he can make his dream a reality.
