The Corbus Cares Foundation Donates Needed Items to Dayton Charities

DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This holiday season The Corbus Cares Foundation donated hundreds of essential items to Care House, a transition facility for abused children, and St. Vincent de Paul, an organization that assists homeless and impoverished individuals.  The Corbus Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Corbus, LLC, participates in various community involvement activities throughout the year within the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.  In 2013, the organization plans to expand its charitable activities into other geographies through its global workforce, to address diverse needs in the communities near each of its offices.

"Care House is grateful to have received such a generous donation of games, school supplies and paper products from The Corbus Cares Foundation," stated Angela Butler, Office Coordinator for Care House.  "Each year, with the help of generous donors like Corbus, we are able to provide needy children with supplies as they head back to school.  It is through community partnering such as this that we are able to provide these and other resources to children in this community."  The Corbus Cares Foundation donated over 100 items to Care House consisting of crayons, coloring books, stickers, paper, glue sticks and handheld games.  The donation to St. Vincent de Paul included more than 70 blankets and pillows.

"We were able to collect all these items through the generosity of our employees by asking those in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas to bring a donation to our Annual Holiday Party," stated David P. Spencer, Corbus Cares Foundation Board Director.  "The amount of support by our employees was impressive; we brought in more items than we initially anticipated.  Our communities need our support now more than ever, so we are proud to have provided some relief during these tough times."
