The Conference Board Announces Staff Honors
NEW YORK, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Conference Board is proud to announce several recent honors and appointments among its staff.
Bart van Ark, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, has been elected to the board of directors of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), which conducts research and disseminates findings among public policymakers, business professionals, and the academic community. The NBER board includes representatives from leading U.S. research universities and economics organizations.
Paul DeNicola, Director of The Conference Board Governance Center and Directors' Education, and Matteo Tonello, Director of Corporate Governance Research at The Conference Board, have been named to the Directorship 100. This list of the 100 most influential people and institutions in corporate governance is published by Directorship magazine.
Lorrie Foster, Vice President, Councils, has been named to Age-friendly New York City, a partnership between the New York Academy of Medicine, the New York City Mayor and the City Council designed to make New York City a better place in which to grow old.
Carol Corrado, Senior Advisor and Research Director, has been appointed a Senior Policy Fellow of the Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy, a non-partisan research center housed at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
