Add the incredible list of featured performances over the past eight years ranging from Bob Dylan to Diana Ross to Rod Stewart to Ellen DeGeneres to Mariah Carey, Dave Chappelle, Faith Hill, Stevie Nicks, Jamie Foxx and Kathy Griffin and it is not surprising since its opening, The Colosseum has received some of the industry's most prestigious and coveted awards, including:

Today, The Colosseum is once again preparing to welcome fans from across the world as Celine Dion returns to the stage on March 15, 2011 with an exciting and entirely new show featuring 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band.
"I'm coming back home to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and I'm very excited about it," says Celine. "With the orchestra and the band we're going to be able to perform our songs like never before. The repertoire is going to be extraordinary, a mix of timeless hit songs made famous by some incredible artists, along with all the favorites my fans like to hear me sing. It's going to be a very beautiful show and I think we'll be raising the bar higher than we've ever done before. There'll be some truly wonderful moments. I can't wait!"
Additionally, The Colosseum is hosting an incredible line-up of exciting entertainment with upcoming shows featuring Kylie Minogue, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, Jerry Seinfeld and more.
Built in 2003 for the premiere of Celine Dion A New Day..., The Colosseum is a modern replica of Rome's architectural wonder, complete with world class acoustics and a classic style. After Dion's legendary five-year run ended in December 2007, The Colosseum underwent an extensive transformation to prepare for the next generation of resident artists. Designed to accommodate stage shows of all varieties, The Colosseum seats an impressive 4,298 with no seat farther than 120-feet from the stage and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual elements, including one of the largest indoor high-definition LED screens in North America (120-feet wide by 33-feet tall).
"We refer to The Colosseum as being the Home to the Greatest Entertainers in the World; we have to live up to that billing every day. It reflects everything we do here, from our bookings to continuously updating the venue to take advantage of the best technologies to our customer service and the experience we offer once you enter our doors," says John Meglen, president and co-CEO, AEG Live/Concerts West.
"We couldn't be more excited for the return of Celine and the slate of upcoming performances headed to The Colosseum in 2011," concludes Gary Selesner, president, Caesars Palace. "We have no doubt that in 2011, with the shows already announced and the shows we will be announcing soon, The Colosseum will play host to some of the most incredible moments in music and entertainment this year."
