The Clam Shack and The John Dory Oyster Bar Take Home Top Honors at the 2012 TastingTable.com Lobster Roll Rumble
NEW YORK, June 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night, at the third annual TastingTable.com Lobster Roll Rumble, the evening's 1,000 attendees voted Kennebunk's The Clam Shack as the 2012 TT Fan Favorite, and Tasting Table editors selected New York's The John Dory Oyster Bar for the coveted Editors' Choice Award.
The sold-out event, which benefits national nonprofit Share Our Strength, showcased 20 of the country's best lobster rolls. Tagstand outfitted guests with NFC-enabled bracelets to capture real-time votes and spread the word about the Rumble through Facebook and Twitter. Guests also weighed in on four Tequila Don Julio cocktails, and named the Yuzu Margarita the best cocktail of the Rumble (visit facebook.com/tastingtable for the recipe).
The other 2012 sponsors helped to kick off the summer season in style, including: Bordeaux Wines, Celebrity Cruises, Haagen-Dazs, San Pellegrino and Stella Artois.
