The City of Wilton Manors Invites Music Lovers to Discover the Benefits of Playing Music with New Guitar Lessons at Hagen Park
WILTON MANORS, Fla., April 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Local residents will soon be able to refine their talents and enjoy the benefits of playing music without leaving their neighborhood. Beginning Saturday, April 18, 2015, the City of Wilton Manors will offer guitar lessons at the Wilton Manors Woman's Club at Hagen Park (2020 Wilton Drive) on Saturdays from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Instructors Brian Rossy and Charles Pariente will offer 30-minute or 60-minute sessions on an individual or group basis. Youth, ages six and up, as well as adults of all ages are welcome to sign up.
"Participants can expect to learn the basics of guitar playing, song writing, improvisation, how to play in a band, and how to play their favorite songs," said instructor Brian Rossy. "From Rock, to Classical, Jazz, Blues, Folk and Country, each participant can decide what genre of music they learn during their sessions."
The cost of the lessons is $25 for each 30-minute session and $40 for each 60-minute session. Lesson fees are paid on a monthly basis. Additional times may be booked based on availability.
"From the beginner, to those with experience or those trying to pick up again after injury or health issues, each student will obtain coaching suited to his or her skill level," said Rossy.
Brian Rossy, who received a degree in Music Performance from Broward College where he studied Jazz and Classical guitar, has been teaching at Guitar Center Studios since 2012. He also studied at Ocean's Edge School of Worship in Fort Lauderdale and has performed in Jazz Big Band and other ensembles including classical guitar ensembles. Charles Pariente has more than 10 years of experience playing the guitar and is presently studying music.
