The City of Wilton Manors Announces 2017 Holiday Event Schedule
WILTON MANORS, Fla., Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Wilton Manors is gearing up for the holiday season with plenty of festive happenings. With three events taking place throughout the month of December, residents, visitors and the business community are invited to come and experience merriment in the Island City.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Thursday, December 7, 2017, 6:30 p.m.
Jaycee Park (Wilton Drive and NE 21 Court, Wilton Manors)
Kick off the holidays at the annual lighting of the menorah, kinara and the Wilton Manors Christmas tree! Enjoy musical performances by local artists, food, vendors and family friendly holiday festivities.
Santa by Sea
Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 5:30 p.m.
Colohatchee Park Boat Ramp (1975 NE 15th Ave. Wilton Manors)
Even Santa needs to get away from the cold for a while! Residents along the Wilton Manors waterway will have a chance to catch a glimpse of Kris Kringle himself while he takes a break from his work in the North Pole and embarks on a journey down the Middle River with his reindeer, sleigh and helpers.
Whether you've been naughty or nice, you can see him launch his lighted water sleigh from Colohatchee Park in Wilton Manors at 5:30 p.m. Santa can be seen from several vantage points within the Island City while he navigates the Middle River. Don't miss Santa while he spreads a little extra holiday cheer to those fortunate Floridians who have escaped the wintry weather!
Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 16, 2017, 10 a.m. – noon
Hagen Park Community Center (2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors)
Join Santa and his elves, Rudolph and the Grinch for a fun-filled breakfast with pancakes, bounce houses, pony rides, crafts, story time and more!
Adults are $7 each, and children under 12 years old are $5. Reservations may be made at Hagen Park Community Center (2020 Wilton Drive).
