Peter Cottontail's time is short but he's making some for four-legged family members during Pooch Pics on Wednesday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hagen Park Community Center, 2020 Wilton Drive.
"Wilton Manors loves dogs and supports humane breeding and adoption of pets from shelters and rescue groups, as evidenced by our latest ordinance which prohibits the sale of animals that come from puppy mills," said Mayor Gary Resnick. "But we also know how to throw a good time for our four-legged friends and their owners and that is what this event is all about."
Sponsored by Wilton's Manor Doggie Daycare, Resort & Spa, Peter Cottontail will be available for photos all night long before he hops off to his next egg hunt. The "Best Dressed Dog" competition will take place at 6:45 p.m. for small dogs and 7:15 p.m. for large dogs, so make sure your canine companion is runway ready.
The cost is $5 and includes a photo with the big, fury, friendly rabbit and a special treat for each dog afterward.
No registration is required for the event. For more information, call 954-390-2130.
