The Intergraph Incident Management solution will replace Arlington's 15-year-old system that lacks the capabilities and support the city requires. Arlington was in need of an incident management system and mobile technology that could manage numerous large-scale events and multi-agency dispatching for police, fire and EMS.
The Intergraph solution will allow the city to take advantage of a modern technology platform that meets their need to scale to the large number of calls for service and events that the city manages. It will provide their dispatch operators the ability to communicate and provide critical data to their field personnel who rely on mobile devices to access this data. With automatic vehicle location (AVL) functionality, dispatchers will have the ability to view the location of vehicles within the city, with expected improvement in routing to emergency calls.
More than 245 customers in 28 countries, speaking 14 languages, use Intergraph public safety and security solutions. Intergraph is the choice of public safety and security agencies that protect 1 in 12 people in the world.
