The Chemours Company Announces Offering of $500,000,000 of Senior Notes Due 2027
WILMINGTON, Del., May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chemours Company (Chemours) (NYSE: CC), a global chemistry company with leading market positions in titanium technologies, fluoroproducts and chemical solutions, today announced that it intends to offer (the "offering") $500,000,000 aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2027, subject to market and other conditions. Chemours intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including the previously announced global settlement of the multi-district PFOA litigation, if finalized.
