The CementBloc Named Finalists in Three Categories for the 2012 MM&M Awards
NEW YORK, July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The CementBloc, a leading multichannel health and wellness creative agency headquartered in New York, has been named a finalist in three out of 24 categories by Medical Marketing and Media. The MM&M Awards are a premier industry event that annually recognizes creativity and marketing effectiveness in healthcare.
The CementBloc is recognized as a finalist for Best Single Professional Advertisement and Best Professional Print Campaign for New Launches for their work on Gralise for Depomed. Additionally, the agency has been named a finalist for the Best Corporate Marketing Campaign for the agency's work on behalf of The Coore Foundation, supporting the Grow Sole Project. Following two comprehensive rounds of scoring by more than 100 independent industry judges, The CementBloc was distinguished as one of five finalists in these three categories.
Through the creation of the iconic Pain Doll, the Gralise campaign personifies the reality faced by patients with postherpetic neuralgia. The campaign simultaneously telegraphs both the patients' pain and the unique control offered by Gralise, all in a single image.
For the Grow Sole Project, The CementBloc helped Girls' Right of Way, a non-profit organization supported by The Coore Foundation, get gently worn shoes out of the closets of people who aren't wearing them anymore and onto the feet of deserving children in developing countries. The Grow Sole campaign merged the idea of shoes with soulfulness in true "360" fashion, appearing on posters, print ads, postcards, and giant shoe donation bins around the world.
The Silver and Gold Awards will be announced on October 9, 2012 at the MM&M Awards ceremony to be held at the acclaimed Cipriani 42nd St in New York City.
