CLEVELAND, June 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- How does early-age spay/neuter saves lives? How will COVID-19 affect this year's kitten season?
The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) is proud to sponsor the 2020 Online Kitten Conference hosted by Community Cats Podcast and National Kitten Coalition on Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14th. This three-day virtual gathering will feature presentations such as raising and saving kittens, setting up kitten-centered shelter programs, and how the ban on spaying/neutering of cats due to COVID-19 will affect the numbers of kittens being born this year.
Speakers throughout the weekend include veterinarians from the University of California Davis and feline experts from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Best Friends Animal Society and national research foundations such as Maddie's Fund.
CFA is offering scholarships to the conference. Individuals that have exemplified a dedication to cats and kittens in their community and are in pursuit of knowledge on how to better help them can qualify by contacting Feline UpRoar Cleveland at www.felineuproarcle.org. Scholarship recipients will be provided full access to the conference and all presentation recordings.
Registration is $75. Can't make it? You can watch recordings of the presentations at a later date. To sign up, just go to https://www.communitycatspodcast.com/product/online-kitten-conference-2020/
