The Capital Region Minority Supplier Council Will Host "The Inside Scoop on Federal Contracting During Covid-19"
Over 500 Businesses Registered to Attend
SILVER SPRING, Md., April 7, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Over five-hundred minority and women-owned businesses registered to attend an online webinar specifically designed to help them find business opportunities with the federal government during the Coronavirus pandemic. The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC) will conduct a webinar to discuss "The Inside Scoop on Federal Contracting during COVID-19" on Tuesday, April 7th from 9:30am – 10:30am.
The webinar will be hosted by Sharon Pinder, President & CEO of The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC) and Tommy Marks, Director, MBDA Federal Procurement Center. The panel of experts also include Antonio Doss, District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Washington Metropolitan Area District Office and Kay Riplinger-Baltz, Acting Director for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Office of Small Business Programs Chairman, DoD Northwest Regional Council.
These experts will provide relevant and current information around how minority businesses across the country can access funding through the SBA and how to best secure contracts with the federal government. Over five-hundred minority businesses have signed up to participate in this fireside chat to learn more about access to funding but also how best provide their products and services to the federal government.
