The Capital Grille Blossoms With New Happy Hour and Lunch Offerings This Spring

LOS ANGELES, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Capital Grille Los Angeles celebrates the arrival of spring with a refreshing, new seasonal  "Plates Menu" for lunch, as well as a new Happy Hour on its outdoor Terrace– both must-haves for today's busy urban professional.  

The "Plates Menu" reflects fresh, seasonal twists on American classics and is ideally suited for those with hectic lunchtime schedules.  The Capital Grille lunch guests can enjoy a delicious lunch made with the freshest ingredients of the season for $15 and be on their way in about 45 minutes – without sacrificing the personalized service and exceptional cuisine that characterize The Capital Grille dining experience.  New delectable items on the lunch "Plates Menu" include Porcini Bisque, Annatto-Rubbed Mahi with House-Made Corn Tortillas and Chilled Asparagus with Fingerling Potatoes. 

"In the spring, we like to introduce new menu items that reflect the feel of the season," said The Capital Grille Los Angeles Executive Chef, Dana Dare. "For example, asparagus is at its absolute peak in the spring, and Mahi Mahi has a lightness to it that lends itself to a simple, fresh dish. We also developed a seasoning this spring around Annatto, a spice native to the Yucatan peninsula that gives the Mahi Mahi a crisp, warm and delicious flavor."

The Capital Grille Los Angeles also unveils a weekday Happy Hour from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Guests in the lounge and the upstairs outdoor Terrace overlooking the Hollywood Hills can enjoy a selection of signature drinks and select wines by the glass.  These can be paired with delicious Happy Hour food offerings, such as Lobster and Crab Burgers, Miniature Tenderloin Sandwiches, Signature Miniature Cheeseburgers and Parmesan Truffle Fries.  All Happy Hour selections are specially priced at $6 each.
