The Bridge Over Troubled Waters Receives Donation, Support From Champion Energy Services
HOUSTON, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Scott Fordham, president and chief executive officer, today announced that Champion Energy Services (www.championenergyservices.com) has created a program to support The Bridge Over Troubled Waters (http://thebridgeovertroubledwaters.org) as part of its community outreach endeavors.
The fundraising partnership, initiated in Champion Energy's year-end 2009 segment on KHOU-TV's Great Day Houston with host Deborah Duncan, provides a $25 donation to The Bridge in Pasadena for each new residential service sign-up under the program. Champion Energy expanded the program in February 2010 to include a two-pronged benefit for The Bridge Over Troubled Water's financial supporters: exceptional electricity rates for new Champion Energy residential customers and a financial contribution from Champion Energy to The Bridge for each sign-up under the program.
"The Bridge Over Troubled Waters in neighboring Pasadena, Tx., provides vital services to Houston-area communities by offering support and safety for domestic abuse victims," said Fordham. "Champion Energy is honored to work alongside the agency to create opportunities that benefit both its programs and committed financial patrons."
