The Brawny® Giants Initiative, which recognizes and provides support to individuals taking action, is asking consumers to nominate members of their community who are making a difference. To share the story of a giant you know, visit Brawny.com/giants.
Giant Terence Lester, Founder of Love Beyond Walls, cleans one of many portable handwashing stations that he sets out for Atlanta’s homeless.
Giant Meg Heriford, owner of LadyBird Diner in Kansas, temporarily closed her restaurant due to COVID-19. Now she prepares free bagged lunches everyday for those in need.
Giant Jacqueline Norvell, founder of Brown Bag Lady, spends her nights and weekends distributing food and supplies to people living on the streets in Los Angeles.
Giant Charlie Lettice of Manalapan, NJ is putting together care packages full of essential items, such as paper towels and food items, for families in need in his community.
Over an eight-week period, the paper towel brand is asking consumers to nominate their friends, family members, and neighbors who are taking action and helping people whose lives have been affected by the novel COVID-19 pandemic for The Brawny® Giants Initiative. The Brawny® brand will recognize and support some of these individuals to help them continue the work they are doing.
In a world full of talk, the Brawny® brand believes that strength lies in the action we take. The individuals the initiative is supporting are giants -- those who take matters into their own hands and tackle challenges head-on.
"These giants embody our brand purpose of inspiring others to overcome life's challenges with strength and resilience. The Brawny® team is proud to be able to support and help them keep doing their incredible work," said Katie Kolesky, Senior Director of Brand Building, Brawny®. "We know there are many giants out there, which is why we're asking consumers for their help to find more of these individuals. We want to know who in their communities has stepped up and could use support to be able to keep making a difference."
