The Blackbaud Giving Fund Disburses Over $536 Million in 2025, With Company Matches Accounting for More Than Half

Company matches amplified employee generosity as funding reached over 124,000 nonprofits worldwide

CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Blackbaud Giving Fund^®,  a nonprofit that brings supporters and nonprofits together to advance the state of giving, is proud to announce the disbursement of more than $536 million to over 124,000 nonprofits across 76 countries in 2025 through workplace giving and corporate grantmaking programs. The Blackbaud Giving Fund's lifetime disbursements total more than $3.3 billion, reaching nearly 300,000 nonprofits over its lifetime. In 2025, a significant share of grants were issued electronically, helping move funding to nonprofits efficiently and at unmatched speed.

Company matches more than doubled employee donations, underscoring the significant role workplace giving plays in connecting individual generosity with greater resources for nonprofits. The numbers demonstrate powerful opportunities for donors to leverage workplace giving programs to increase their original donation amount. At scale, those matches translate into hundreds of millions of additional dollars supporting nonprofit missions.
