The Big Data Insight Group Partners with The Big Data Show as 'Exclusive Research Partner'
LONDON, November 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
UBM Live's newest UK launch, The Big Data Show (http://www.bigdatashow.com) has announced an exclusive two year research partnership with the Big Data Insight Group (BDIG). The BDIG is a community for business and IT professionals to come together and exchange ideas, expertise and best practice on big data and advanced analytics.
Speaking about this agreement, The Big Data Show's Event Manager, Sarah Tanner said
"We're delighted to work alongside the Big Data Insight Group for our inaugural show and into the future. The Big Data Show is a proposition which will fill a gap in the current European market for businesses that are looking for efficient solutions to manage the enormous amount of structured and unstructured data being created by internal users and clients. The expertise that BDIG provides is enormously comprehensive and I'm looking forward to working together to enrich the content we'll be offering on the show floor."
Set for 23rd - 25th April 2013 at London's Earls Court, The Big Data Show 2013 will be co-located with Internet World catering for a wide range of sectors, all of which have a high volume, variety and velocity of data. The BDIG will be present at the event engaging with visitors, presenting research and promoting discussions about best practice.
Emma Taylor, Founder and Managing of the Big Data Insight Group commented on the partnership
"As the UK's leading community of big data practitioners, we look forward immensely to working with The Big Data Show and meeting the huge audience that a venue like Earl's Court can offer for this burgeoning business technology area. Since we launched Big Data Insight Group in 2011, we have built a broad portfolio of educational and networking activities for our members, including live events, editorial and digital to help them make informed, insightful decisions and realise value for their organisations. Though the industry leaders are now becoming well versed in big data and its huge potential, confusion still reigns in the mainstream over what exactly big data is and how it can it be implemented into business practices. At The Big Data Show, we will present the results of our independent research, successful case studies and best practice advice from some of the world's leading companies among our member base in order to demonstrate how big data can be used for insight-driven decision making."
