The Bicycle Casino's High Stakes Poker Show, 'Live at the Bike!' Returns in January 2011

BELL GARDENS, Calif., Jan. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The first and only cash poker game captured specifically for the web, "Live at the Bike!" is being webcast direct from the world famous Bicycle Casino.  Beginning in early 2005 and continuing up until the end of 2008, we captured more than 400 episodes of pure cash action...from mid limits to high stakes.

On January 4, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., the Bicycle Casino will air the first episode in the "Live at the Bike!" series on www.pokernetcast.com.  The first game is scheduled to be $500 Buy-in Unrestricted No-Limit Hold'em ($5/10 Blinds) featuring former "Live at the Bike!" regulars: Corporation Mike, Barry (Don't-Call-me-Greenstein) Woods and Action Mo.  Other games will range as low as $100/300 Buy-in NLHE ($1/3 Blinds) all the way up to high-stakes whale games.

It is unlike anything you have ever seen on television.  The cash is real, the players are real, and anybody can be a part of the action.  Now with 17 cameras in and around the table you'll get a first-hand look at the reality of cash game poker.  Captured live and archived for repeat viewing, "Live at the Bike!" is raw poker played and filmed on the Plaza Poker Floor at the Bicycle Casino and aired live (with a ten minute delay) on the internet, with hole card cameras and commentators (Nichoel Jurgens, Adam Strohl, Bart Hanson and David Tuchman) calling the action.  Viewers of the webcast are also able to discuss the action as it unfolds via the live chat forum.
