Cloud-based Architecture Enables Seamless Integration of 3rd Party Solutions
SALT LAKE CITY, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadcast International (BCST:OB) announced at the Communication Media Management Association Spring Conference today the next generation of its cloud-based media management platform. At the heart of its Managed Media Services Solution is an extensible services-based platform that enables seamless integration of 3rd party services and solutions. With this open architecture, the BI Network extends its platform to enable seamless integration with value-added software solutions.
Highlighting this new version is the joint announcement with Learn.net who has integrated its solution into the BI Network cloud-based platform. It will be packaged as a value-added service for all customers of Broadcast International.
"This seamless integration between our IDL platform and the BI Network is a logical match," said Johan Praats, President of Learn.net. According to Praats, "our two systems are very complementary as Learn.net's blended learning technologies enable large organizations, such as retail or the government, to deliver and measure the effectiveness of video-based training and corporate messaging. In today's business environment we are constantly competing for people's time and mindshare, so being able to deliver effective training using engaging video is invaluable."
"Our open architecture approach enables us to provide a value-added platform to key partners like Learn.net. It is the foundation of Broadcast International's 4 Screen Strategy," said Rod Tiede, CEO of Broadcast International. "No other company can offer a unified experience that delivers content to the training room TV, PC, Dynamic Digital Signage Display and Mobile devices, while leveraging the power of CodecSys, our video optimization platform."
