The Better Show Hosts Nominated For Daytime Emmy Award

NEW YORK, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Better Show, Meredith Videos Studios' nationally syndicated lifestyle talk show, is pleased to announce that its co-hosts, JD Roberto and Rebecca Budig, have been nominated for a Daytime Emmy® Award in the Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle/Travel Program category. This will be the first Daytime Emmy® Award nomination for The Better Show and Roberto, and the third nomination for Budig, who was previously nominated for her role as Greenlee Smythe on All My Children. The 41^st Daytime Emmy® Awards will be presented on June 22.

Roberto has been a co-host on The Better Show for three seasons. His television career includes roles on Frasier, All My Children, and Family Matters, and as host of the classic game show Shop 'Til You Drop. He has hosted game and reality shows for ABC, Discovery Channel, Food Network and Animal Planet, as well as guest hosting E! News Live and announcing for The Price is Right with Drew Carey. In addition, he has been a contributing writer for the Los Angeles Times, The Bump, Parents magazine and the Huffington Post.

Budig joined The Better Show for the seventh season in September 2013. She also hosts HGTV's Amazing Water Homes, and has served as a host on WE tv's Full Frontal Fashion and ABC's The View.
