A Reception & Fundraiser event will immediately follow the tournament at the Hilton Southlake Hotel in Southlake, Tex., and will feature a silent auction and raffle prizes.
Spiegelman co-founded Beryl, a technology-focused patient experience services company dedicated to improving relationships between healthcare providers and consumers, with his two brothers, Mark and Paul in 1985. Barry was diagnosed with an astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor, in 1986, and was a patient in UCLA's Neuro-Oncology program, which founded the Art of the Brain.
"This is our fourth year hosting the event, and each year, the support continues to gain momentum," said Paul Spiegelman, founder and CEO of The Beryl Companies. "I'm truly humbled by the compassion I see every year from the people who participate in the tournament and reception. It's a very fun, exciting day where we are participating in one of Barry's favorite activities while helping find a cure for this often-fatal disease."
Tournament fees of $150 per person include course fees, lunch, contest awards and a ticket to the Reception & Fundraiser event. Tickets to the Reception & Fundraiser can be purchased separately for $100 each. Sponsorship opportunities are also available beginning at $500.
