The Beck Group Announces Successful Completion of "100 Gifts for 100 Years" Giving Campaign
Program Initiated to Celebrate Firm's Centennial Lays Foundation for Continued Community Involvement
DALLAS, Jan. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Beck Group, a worldwide, integrated architecture, construction, technology and professional services firm, announced today that its "100 Gifts for 100 Years" campaign exceeded its goals in giving back to the communities in which the company has prospered. The yearlong community giving and volunteerism program was kicked off in January 2012 to honor Beck's 100th anniversary.
Beck's "100 Gifts for 100 Years" campaign encouraged and empowered employees to collectively participate in 100 charity events or activities in 2012. In all, Beck's employees across its eight locations in the United States and Mexico donated more than 700 service hours and participated in some 130 nonprofit activities and events. Additionally, more than $125,000 was raised in support of the charities and service organizations chosen by the individual offices, with Beck donating a total of $50,000 to help fund various events.
"Celebrating our centennial provided us with a great opportunity to thank those communities in which we've prospered," said Joe Flores, Chief Human Resources Officer of The Beck Group. "It's no surprise to me that '100 Gifts for 100 Years' was a resounding success. Our employees readily embraced the idea and ran with it. Their passion exemplifies the uniqueness of the Beck culture, which is defined by our values of caring for each other, our clients and those less privileged. We're proud of our people for all their volunteer hours last year and look forward to continuing our commitment to bettering the communities in which we live as we begin our next 100 years."
