BALTIMORE, April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Auburn School (Auburn) announced today that it has finalized negotiations on a 4,900 sq. ft. lease in Towson, MD to house its new Baltimore campus. The space, conveniently located just off the Baltimore beltway, is on the lower level of the Towson Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 1710 Dulaney Valley Road.
Auburn, which currently has two campuses in the Washington, DC area, is expected to open in time for Camp Aristotle over the summer and the official launch of the new campus in September, 2011. The space will undergo minor renovations and updates in the meantime. The new campus includes flexible classroom space, a nature trail, outdoor garden and playground.

Marjorie Hoffman, Head of School for the Baltimore campus, who joined Auburn in March, is focusing on staff and student recruitment. A team of expert teachers, teaching assistants and support staff will come together to create an ideal environment for Auburn's first cohort of students in Baltimore.
