The Anita Kaufmann Foundation Hosts Pedal for Purple Day® 5K Bike Ride and Festival in Glendale, California
LOS ANGELES, March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As the global sponsor for Purple Day®- World Epilepsy Day™, The Anita Kaufmann Foundation is committed to partnering with individuals and organizations around the world to promote epilepsy awareness. The Anita Kaufmann Foundation is hosting Pedal for Purple Day® on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 10am to 3pm in Pacific Community Park located at 501 S. Pacific Avenue in Glendale, California. The event will consist of pre-ride festivities, a 5K bike ride and a post-ride expo with music, vendors and some of L.A.'s best food trucks including Coolhaus, Dogtown Dogs, Let's Thai and Rice Balls of Fire. The 5K bike ride will begin at 11am and helmets are required.
Advance registration is $20 per person or $40 per family (2 adults and children 16 and under.) The day of, registration prices will be $40 per person and $60 per family. All riders will receive an event t-shirt and goody bag. The event entrance, car and bike parking are off of South Kenilworth Avenue.
