The American Fertility Association Celebrates Family Building At Illuminations LA 2014
NEW YORK, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Fertility Association (The AFA) recently honored three individuals at Illuminations LA 2014, celebrating the work the organization does in helping hopeful parents create family in all its diversity. The honorees were embryologist Dr. David Hill, Jeffrey A. Bernstein, Esq., a gay father through surrogacy, and foster care adoption advocate, Jeanne Pritzker. All three shared their moving stories with 250 of The AFA's supporters.

KTLA news anchor Wendy Burch presented the Joyce M. Vargyas, M.D. Visionary Award to Dr. David Hill, highlighting his work in helping people to conceive through in vitro fertilization and other forms of assisted reproductive technology. Samuel L. Jackson and Margot Robbie presented the Advocacy Award to Jeffrey A. Bernstein, Esq., and Nia Vardalos and Dr. Kim Bergman presented the Carolyn Berger Adoption Advocacy Award to Jeanne Pritzker.
