CHICAGO, Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Lee M. Jameson, D.D.S., M.S., F.A.C.P., was confirmed as Immediate Past President of the American College of Prosthodontists on Friday, Oct. 11, at the ACP Annual Awards & President's Dinner. The College's 43rd Annual Session in Las Vegas had record-breaking attendance levels of more than 1,200 dental professionals who celebrated Dr. Jameson's leadership as the ACP's 2012-13 President and concluded his one-year term with great fanfare.
Dr. Jameson has been in private practice limited to prosthodontics for more than 38 years in Palos Heights, Ill. He earned both his D.D.S. and M.S. degrees in prosthodontics from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr. Jameson is Dean Emeritus of Northwestern University Dental School. He presently is Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where he is an attending faculty in the Advanced Prosthodontic Program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a member of several other dental organizations including the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association as well as Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society and the Odontographic Society of Chicago.
The ACP Annual Session covered four full days of excellence in prosthodontics. Practitioners shared how they have handled the most challenging topics in prosthodontics, solved problems associated with complications and failures, and how they've improved their practices with new technologies for diagnosis and treatment.
