DENVER, April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Alternative Board President and CEO Jason Zickerman will appear on an expert panel at America's Small Business Summit, Small Business Big Impact, on April 30 in Washington, D.C. Zickerman's insights are valued coming from his background in top-level business management and his leadership of The Alternative Board (TAB), the world's largest franchise system providing peer advisory boards and executive coaching services for business owners.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce holds the annual America's Small Business Summit to benefit small business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs. Additional speakers at this year's Summit include Chamber president and CEO Thomas Donahue, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, and Editor-in-Chief Steve Forbes.
Jason Zickerman looks forward to the panel to discuss effective advisory boards in today's small business economy. "The Summit is exactly the kind of forum our country's executives can get the most out of," Zickerman emphasized. "There is a wealth of knowledge at every session; CEOs from all industries get insights from proven success stories and how they have overcome obstacles we all experience in business. It's like one of our TAB boards on a larger scale, and I plan to share our best practices in the Small Business Advisory Boards panel on Tuesday." Zickerman will appear with other experts in the peer advisory boards breakout session on April 30; the full event agenda can be found on the U.S. Chamber Summit website.
Jason Zickerman's expert counsel is recognized throughout the business world's media, including: BusinessWeek, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, CNN, MSNBC, The Associated Press, Smart Money, and Reuters. He has made multiple appearances on Fox Business News due to his position as an authority on issues faced by small- to medium-sized businesses. Zickerman drives the strategic vision and continued expansion of TAB's international business advisory network, spanning more than 1,000 cities in the United States, Canada, the UK, New Zealand, and Germany.
The Chamber's staff shared Zickerman's enthusiasm about his appearance. "The U.S. Chamber is grateful to have Jason Zickerman speak on its advisory board panel at America's Small Business Summit 2013 to provide his insights on how to find the right circle of advisors to run effective advisory boards," said Tom Collamore, senior vice president of Communications and Strategy and counselor to the president at the U.S. Chamber.
America's Small Business Summit enters its seventh year and promises to equal or surpass the success of past years.
