The Adcom Group acquires Arras Keathley, now will employ over 110
CLEVELAND, Aug. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cleveland-based The Adcom Group, a full-service marketing and communications company, has acquired fellow Cleveland-based agency Arras Keathley.
Adcom Co-Founder and CEO Joe Kubic and Arras Keathley President Jim Hickey made the announcement last week.
Adcom, founded in 1990, is a leading marketing and PR firm in the Midwest that does work in health care, trades, transportation and consumer goods, among other industries. Clients include some of the region's and nation's most prominent companies.
"We've grown by understanding our clients' needs and challenging ourselves to enhance our ability to serve them," Kubic said. "Our business has changed dramatically over the last couple of decades and there is no end to the evolution in sight. We must continually reinvent ourselves, build depth and invest in the future. This acquisition helps us continue to be able to do that."
Arras started in 1991 and later added Keathley Advertising in 2011.
"We're looking forward to joining forces with Adcom. We've known each other for a long time and have had a good relationship in and outside of the workplace. We are very like-minded," Hickey said. "Our cultures, client rosters, skills and philosophies align remarkably well. Both companies are smart, creative and dedicated to helping our clients elevate their brands and businesses. We believe that joining forces will make us an even more formidable marketing/communications firm and position us to support current and new clients at extraordinary levels."
The companies' operations will merge at Adcom's Warehouse District headquarters, and Adcom will now employ over 110 people.
