The Ad Club of New York Celebrates 120th Anniversary
Elects Nine New Directors to Board and Recognizes 2016 President's Award Recipients at Annual Meeting
NEW YORK, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The ADVERTISING Club of New York, the industry's leading professional organization representing the vision and mission of the global advertising community across crafts, celebrates a milestone anniversary at its 120th Annual Meeting of members by welcoming new members to the Board of Directors, which is led by Chairman Carl Fremont, Chief Digital Officer at MEC Global. The event took place at Current at Chelsea Piers in New York on July 19th.
The new Board Members include:

- Sandra Sims-Williams, Chief Diversity Officer, Publicis Groupe
The new Young Pro President is Emily Goldman, Senior Account Manager, Brand Networks.

The AD Club also recognized recipients of the 2016 President's Award, which is given to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding volunteerism and commitment to the Club. This year's recipients include:

The Club's 2016 Rising Star Award was given to Dan Sorine, Senior Account Executive at Havas Life Metro.
