The 6th Western China International Sourcing Fair to Stage Twice and See Soaring Business
CHENGDU, China, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As a main carrier for trade cooperation and one of the major events at the Western China International Fair (WCIF), the 6th Western China International Sourcing Fair (WCISF) will stage both in September at the China Food Expo (CFE) and in October at the WCIF, the first time in its history. A total of 10,000 purchasers and suppliers will gather in Chengdu, Sichuan, to attend the events and seek business opportunities.
With the theme of "building a trade cooperation platform to boost practical economic and trade cooperation", the 6th WCISF will be held from September 15 to 18 and October 23 to 27 in Chengdu. Economic and trade matching and negotiation activities will be rolled out through the combination of exhibitions, discussions, online purchase and offline matching in the main venue and sub-venues to successfully bridge purchasers and suppliers. In addition to the scheduled Purchase and Supply Chain Management Summit Forum, the UN Procurement Introduction and Matching Fair and industrial matching fairs for equipment manufacturing, electronic information, agriculture and comprehensive sectors, the WCISF during the WCIF will arrange pertinent negotiation fairs for major purchasers and important procurement delegations. Meanwhile, a series of activities including special regional matching fairs, online fairs and key project signing ceremonies will be carried out to promote effective negotiations between suppliers and purchasers and realize more cooperation achievements.
Renowned experts, scholars, procurement directors from multinationals and Fortune 500 corporations will be invited to attend the Supply Chain Management Summit Forum and discuss the trends, challenges and focuses in supply chain management. The UN Procurement Introduction and Matching Fair will arrange matching negotiations between the UN procurement department and WCIF exhibitors, suppliers from Sichuan and other western regions. The Online Fair will open an online transaction zone through cooperation with a renowned third-party e-commerce platform at home and abroad.
