The 13th WCIF Overfulfills Its Target
CHENGDU, China, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The contract signings for the 13th Western China International Fair (WCIF) have been coming in smoothly and in droves. By the end of June, a total of 625 contracts with value of 15.6 billion yuan had been signed across Sichuan Province, accounting for 96.5% of contracts signed at the fair and 59.7% of its total contracted value respectively. The contract performance rate exceeds the year's target.
Except Yibin, with a contract performance rate of 97.5%, Guangyuan at 82.0%, and Aba at 66.7%, the contract performance rates of other cities (prefectures) of Sichuan are 100%. The contracted value performance rates of 11 cities (prefectures), including Zigong, Bazhong, Panzhihua, Deyang, Ganzi, Yibin, Neijiang, Guang'an, Dazhou, Liangshan and Ziyang have exceeded their annual targets. The contracted value performance rates of the other 9 cities (prefectures) have exceeded 50% of their annual targets.
In recent years, the WCIF has come into its own as a trade and cooperation platform, it, along with other economic exhibitions and presentations, have made great achievements. According to statistics, the gross trade volume of the previous three sessions hit 733 billion yuan. The 13th WCIF alone reached a record-high trade volume of 256.04 billion yuan, including external turnover of $11.86 billion, or 29.5% of the total, and Sichuan province's internal turnover of 37.98 billion yuan, with 648 contracts worth 26.134 billion yuan under its special performance management.
