TFO Wins Three Silver W3 Awards for BRBR and EduLulu
TORONTO, Oct. 2, 2014 /CNW/ - New York's Academy of Interactive and visual Arts (AIVA) has awarded Groupe Média TFO three silver prizes for BRBR's web platform and for the EduLulu web application. The ceremony was held at the W3 Awards in Manhattan. TFO was recognized from more than 4,000 entries from around the world. This international competition rewards the highest standards of excellence for international businesses such as Microsoft Corporation, the Ogilvy agency, and Saatchi and Saatchi.
"It is quite an honour for TFO to be recognized by the W3 Awards, for our web creation work and our in-house promos," said Glenn O'Farrell, President and CEO of Groupe Média TFO. "These prizes are a testament to the outstanding creativity of TFO's professionals."
Last April, TFO launched EduLulu, a web application designed to help parents and educators make enlightened choices about apps for children. To promote this tool, TFO took a number of marketing steps, including producing a promotional video to help potential clients discover this first-of-its-kind public service, a Canadian reference in terms of educational apps for children aged 2 to 17.
The BRBR web platform, BRBR being Groupe Média TFO's music franchise, showcases Francophone, francophile and Canadian emerging artists. With the signing of numerous new partnerships with the likes of AOL, La Presse, MSN, Blue Ant - Omnia médias and Urbania, BRBR is even more present on exterior platforms, which in turn offers greater visibility to artists. During its new season, BRBR will continue to make its presence felt by participating in the best and biggest music festivals, while further evolving its web platform and blog.
