CHICAGO, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Textura Corporation (NYSE: TXTR), a leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced that it has again been named to Constructech magazine's Constructech 50 list, which recognizes the top technology vendors for the construction industry.
The 2015 Constructech 50 is a listing of the most influential construction technology providers with a strong and ongoing market presence. The annual list is determined by the magazine's editors, who judge entries on such criteria as ongoing customer satisfaction and growth, having a strong product/service aimed at the construction industry, and outreach and educational efforts in the industry.
Textura® has appeared on the Constructech 50 every year since it was first published in 2009. The company's online collaboration tools transform processes to improve outcomes across the stages of the project lifecycle. Textura solutions help commercial construction companies increase efficiency and productivity, improve communication, mitigate risk, and enhance visibility and control over project activities.
Textura launched its first solution, Textura-Construction Payment Management™ (CPM®), in 2006 to facilitate online invoicing and payment process collaboration between general contractors, owners/developers and subcontractors. Since then, the company has developed or acquired other solutions, creating a platform to improve key activities across project phases, including:
- PlanSwift® for takeoff and estimating
- Textura-PQM™ for qualification management
- GradeBeam® for invitation to bid
- BidOrganizer® for strategic bid management
- Submittal Exchange® for project communication
- Latista® for mobile field management
- PerformanceTracker™ for data-rich, actionable vendor evaluations
- GreenGrade® for LEED management
In addition, Textura recently launched the Early Payment Program™ to transform how subcontractors are paid in the construction industry. EPP™, developed in partnership with Greensill Capital, provides third-party funding that enables general contractors to pay subcontractors significantly earlier than normal industry payment timing.
Headquartered in Deerfield, Ill., Textura has several offices throughout the United States as well as operations in the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia/New Zealand and Russia.
Peggy Smedley, Editorial Director of Constructech, stated: "Textura has done a nice job of incorporating PlanSwift, Submittal Exchange, Latista, and GradeBeam into the fold of the company, while additionally growing its business on a global level."
"The Constructech 50 is about much more than the technology a company has to offer," Laura Black, editor of Constructech magazine, said in a statement. "It is about finding the best of the best organizations that are poised to stay the course in the years ahead, helping construction professionals make decisions about who to select as a partner."
Textura CEO Dave Habiger said: "We are honored to again be recognized by Constructech as one of the most influential technology companies for the construction industry. Constructech's editors have long watched the changing landscape for technology in construction, and we're thrilled that they have recognized us as one of the leaders every year they have published this list."
