Texas Health Care Association Members Receive National Honors for Exemplary Nursing Home Customer, Workforce Satisfaction
AUSTIN, Texas, June 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Twenty-five Texas Health Care Association (THCA) members have received My InnerView's Excellence in Action award, a national honor recognizing superior customer and workforce satisfaction in nursing homes. Over 5,000 nursing homes in the country participated in a 2009 satisfaction survey. The award, which is presented annually, recognizes those providers that performed in the top ten percent of nursing homes.
"This year's award recipients deserve to be recognized and applauded for their dedication to workforce satisfaction," said Neil Gulsvig, President, My InnerView. "This annual award underscores the difference they make and serves to honor the valuable work that they do."
My InnerView, the applied research and quality-improvement solutions provider that presents the annual award, supports leaders across the entire senior care profession with tools to measure, benchmark and improve performance. This year's award for superior customer and workforce satisfaction was presented to select My InnerView customers who completed a customer and workforce satisfaction survey in 2009, had a minimum 30 percent response rate and scored in the top ten percent of qualifying facilities on the questions "What is your recommendation of this facility to others?" and "What is your recommendation of this facility as a place to work?" in terms of the percentage of respondents rating the facility as "excellent."
