Texas Golf Tournament Brings Back 'Caddy for Caddie'
HP Byron Nelson Championship will give Escalade Hybrid to caddie of winning golfer
IRVING, Texas, March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The HP Byron Nelson Championship will bring back the "Caddy for Caddie" promotion for this year's golf tournament, providing a 2011 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid to the caddie of this year's champion.
The tournament will be played Memorial Day weekend, May 23-29, at the Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving. Byron Nelson, for whom the tournament is named, caddied in his youth before starting a hall-of-fame golf career.
The tournament last held the Caddy for Caddie promotion in 2008. A Cadillac XLR-V was awarded to Tony Navarro when Adam Scott sunk a 48-foot birdie putt on the third playoff hole of the championship that year.
