DALLAS, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas de Brazil, the nation's leading Brazilian steakhouse, will host a charity luncheon to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® at their Dallas restaurant on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 12:30 p.m. The proceeds from the event will support St Jude in its life-saving mission: Finding cures. Saving children®.
In August, Texas de Brazil's domestic locations implemented a campaign allowing guests the opportunity to donate money directly at the bottom of their check and online. This campaign, along with Texas de Brazil's own contribution of $25,000, earned more than $100,000 for the hospital.
"St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases," stated Salim Asrawi, Chief Operating Officer of Texas de Brazil. "Thanks to its many individual contributors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Texas de Brazil is honored to support this cause."
The tickets can be purchased for $40 and the luncheon will take place at 2727 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX. The event will include lunch provided by Texas de Brazil, a St. Jude family sharing their positive experience with the hospital and an auction where guests can take home great items such as: a round of four at TPC Four Seasons Golf Course, two round-trip airline tickets anywhere in the United States and a Dallas 'Staycation' Package with a two night's stay at the Omni Hotel, a $100 certificate to Kent Rathbun's Abacus restaurant and a $200 Visa gift card.
Purchase your tickets to the luncheon by visiting the Texas de Brazil Eventbrite page.
